Indiana Jones Beat Down- Work in Progress

This is a step by step walk through of an piece I did for the Secret Sketch Lab.

  2. Thumbnail composition
  3. Rough pencils
  4. Less-rough pencils
  5. Color thumbnail (based off photo) used as a guide for...
  6. Flat colors
  7. Core shadows
  8. Interior shadows
  9. Flats & Shadows combined
  10. Highlights added
  11. Hue adjustments (made it warmer)
  12. Crappy background
  13. Zoom blurred background with lighting effects
  14. Color & lighting adjustments on background
  15. Composed layers, paper texture added, airbrush highlights & lighting effect

I know I'm getting in late on this, but I just found your Blog. I really like the way you showed a progression of how you work here. I'm trying to develop my drawing skills and seeing something like this really helps.
